ARTHUR is 4 years old, a black boy on the larger side and he is just super-duper, a confident lad. Last officially raced way back in January 2024, we hope that this stunning boy will capture somebody’s heart very soon and that his wait in kennels will end quickly. On his park trip, ARTHUR jumped into and out of the car no problem. He lay down on the back seat and travelled well on the short journey. ARTHUR walked pretty well on a lead, but can pull at times, (he is not overly strongly and not all over the place). ARTHUR is manageable on the lead. ARTHUR does have a prey drive, as he saw a rabbit and was locked in watching it with interest. He then heard a rustling sound (another rabbit) and pulled towards it, but again was totally manageable with a harness. When he met a bearded collie which growled and was excitable, ARTHUR was a little apprehensive at first, but when they met nose to nose his tail was wagging. He also met a chow chow and they both exchanged sniffs. The chow’s owner complimented on how handsome ARTHUR was. ARTHUR is a friendly and sociable boy who could live with another hound subject to successful meet ups. He could also be an only hound.
