BOOTS is a strapping, tall black boy with a sweet white marking on the tip of his snout and foldy back ears which make for a streamlined look. BOOTS is 5 years old and last raced in early 2024, so we would really love for him to get out of kennels fast and forever.
Although he is a largish boy, BOOTS is much easier to handle than some of the small girls, he is laid back with a kind face and a gentle nature. BOOTS is made to fall in love with.

He had to be assisted getting in and out of the car. BOOTS is a good walker who trots along beside you. He wasn't particularly bothered by rabbits running in a nearby field.
Walking along he met a spaniel, initially he was reluctant to meet her but then briefly exchanged sniffs. He did, however, have a lean with the owner and liked the attention very much.
At the park, BOOTS met an off lead corgi that was running about. She was barking at him to play with her, our boy was initially unsure, but then had a brief sniff. BOOTS didn’t mind his rear end being sniffed by the corgi. He went on to sniff the corgi's owner, wanting to say hello. Then, when BOOTS saw a young boy walking his way, he started to wag his tail.
Perhaps BOOTS is more a people dog!
On the high street he met an older small male dog, eventually had a sniff at it and then ignored it.
That is a pretty full on park visit and outing. BOOTS showed himself to be a superstar. He is an easy going lad who will make a great pet.
While he is not that interested in meeting other dogs, there is potential for him to live with another dog pending a successful meet up. BOOTS could also be an only hound as this sweet boy adores human attention and company.
