BRENDA is another of our little brindle girls and she is the litter sister of black BEAUTY. BRENDA is young, just turned 3 years old. She is excited for her walks and walks along nice and neatly when out and about. She is fine with the other greyhounds and is partial to human attention too. BRENDA has just been to the local park and here is how she got on. BRENDA jumped into the car easily, she stood up some of the way looking out of the window but was well behaved on the short journey. At the park, she likes to stride ahead of you on her walk, but she doesn’t pull too much. She is manageable on the lead. When two off lead collies approached, BRENDA was timid at first and tried to move away. She then had a wee sniff nose to nose with the first collie, which then just moved on. The other collie passed us by, no sniff but no issues either. BRENDA will be ok with other breeds and, as with any rescue hound, she will benefit from more positive dog interactions to build her confidence socially. When the walking stops, BRENDA likes to be close with her person / walker, she likes the reassurance and to feel safe. BRENDA was also good walking on the high street and handled traffic quite well, ie she didn't freak out!
