GUY is a most handsome, 5 year old, blue boy. He is medium to large sized, calm, sociable and good on the lead. (We are told that GUY is also very partial to a bit of toast). He is settling in nicely at the kennels and he has recently been on a trip to the local park.
GUY climbed into the car. Once settled for the short journey to the park, he was initially reluctant to get out. He did so, though, with a bit of assistance.
Once on his walk, GUY trotted along the path very well. GUY is in the main a laid-back lad and walks great on the lead. He first saw a collie which passed him just fine. He then exchanged sniffs with a terrier. It looks like GUY is still sussing other breeds out, as he took a step back then gave a slight lunge forward with paws in front. However, GUY is a quick learner, as next minute, he had a positive meeting with a Spanish rescue (westie sized) and he was more sure of the situation. GUY should be fine with other dogs, but as ever with ex racers, it’s always worth giving them plenty of possibilities to meet and greet other breeds.
GUY was confident walking down the high street and didn’t react when a group of cyclists passed him.
He is an adorable, fuzzy coated fellow with a laid back nature and will make a fantastic companion.
