Enchanting ISLA is a petite brindle girl, in her prime at 5 years of age. We are told that she is a lover of cheese and we know that she is a nice walker on the lead! ISLA took no time in trotting off to the local park, so that we could get to know her a bit better. ISLA jumped into and out of the car with ease. She was ready for her adventure. She was a good walker on the path, however was pully at the park at times. When she saw dogs up ahead, ISLA was enthusiastic and excitable to meet them. On this occasion, she only came close to meeting a grumpy spaniel. She lunged forward to say “hi” a bit over-enthusiastically, but was led away easily. She also saw a small dachshund chasing a ball, got excited, then had second thoughts and did a quick reverse. It’s clear that ISLA is a sociable soul who wants to make friends and she will need more up-close social interactions going forward. Despite her enthusiasm, she is manageable and, as always, a harness is useful / vital. On the high street, ISLA was quite nervy as there was lots of activity. As a kennel dog this will all be new to her, but she is a smarty pants and will learn to adjust to a new life in the outside world. ISLA is a beautiful girl with a sweet nature.
