MEGAN has already paid a visit to the park.
She was lifted into and out of the car. She didn't settle and stood up looking out the window whilst travelling. MEGAN is a timid girl who can be unsure of the outside world and her new surroundings. She is mainly a good walker who is easy on the lead, but occasionally she did bump into her walker. MEGAN would also stop and try to do an about turn to walk in the other direction, however, she does respond well to kindness, gentle encouragement and praise to continue walking.
There were a lot of bikes passing on the path and she did step back a few times with uncertainty and then continued to walk once they passed.
MEGAN seems fine with other dogs. A collie passed on a lead too quickly for her to say hi and she passed a shaggy dog that she walked past just fine. MEGAN briefly met a spaniel nose to nose and she was ok with it.
MEGAN definitely likes the human touch and responds well to chin rubs. She is a lovely natured girl who, given her timid nature, will need a little time and patience to boost her confidence and help her adjust to her new life in a home.
