NEPTUNE is a petite, sweet and pretty black girl with nice white markings on her chest, toes and a cute white tip on the end of her snout. NEPTUNE is 3 years old and currently a little on the shy and demure side. That will change as she finds her feet and comes out of her shell more.
When NEPTUNE visited the local park, she had to be lifted into and out of the car. She’s a timid girl who trots along at your side walking at a laid back pace. NEPTUNE met a parson’s terrier who passed on the path and she had a brief sniff. She wasn’t particularly interested nor was she shy. She then walked past two smallish collie cross dogs, and again didn’t show much interest and wasn’t bothered when one sniffed her rear. Nice and neutral, NEPTUNE.
She was a bit unsure of her new surroundings and stopped walking when a group of people with an off lead dog approached and a walker with two on-lead dogs were behind her. Once they had passed she did then continue to walk with a little encouragement .
As a greyhound with little life experience in the outside world, NEPTUNE will need a little time and patience to adjust to life outside kennels. Being shy, she would best be suited to an adult home or one with older teens. This unassuming little lady most definitely has the makings of a wonderful companion.
