TOM is a quiet and reserved, smaller black boy with a glossy coat and the sweetest face. He was in a home for a short time, but sadly it didn’t work out. TOM is still only 3 years old and is still looking for his perfect person. TOM won’t push himself forward, he asks for nothing, is clean, shy and unassuming, so is finding it hard to get noticed. He is getting down in kennels as he thrives on individual human contact, making a busy kennel situation not the place for him to decompress and move forward. TOM is a special boy who may need time and patience to warm to his adopters and his new situation. He will need to get to know them, learn to trust and start to feel comfortable. He has become close to some of the regular kennel volunteers, loves a cuddle, a butt scritch. And some play time. TOM is looking for a quieter home, perhaps used to dogs of a shyer nature, a home not expecting too much from him, especially in the early days. TOM will just need his safe space and a garden to mooch around in. A small world. He may be reluctant to walk far initially, but that can be built up. He has the makings of a perfect garden and kitchen buddy! TOM is looking for snuggles and an adopter who is able to spend quality time with him, building up that special relationship. TOM has been fine with other dogs, so could potentially live with a compatible, calm canine friend, subject to a successful meet up. He is an adorable, people oriented boy.
